Mongolian judoka, the first Olympic champion in the history of Mongolia.
Performs in weight up to 100 kg. At the Asian Games in 2006, Tuvshinbayar took fifth place in both the heavyweight category and the free category. Silver and bronze medalist of Asian championships in 2007 and 2008 respectively. He became the champion of the 2008 Olympic Games, becoming the first Mongolian gold medalist.
On August 14, 2008 he was awarded the title of Honored Athlete and Hero of Labor of Mongolia, Order of Sukhbaatar and Polar Star. At the 2012 Olympics, he took second place, becoming the first Mongolian athlete to win medals at several Olympics.
