National Olympic Committee of the United Arab Emirates Interested in Winter Sports

Mr. Sherzod Asatullaev, Secretary General of the Children of Asia International Committee, met with Ms. Azza Sulaiman, Deputy Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of the United Arab Emirates.

         In the course of the meeting projects of the Children of Asia International Committee were presented. The parties discussed development of winter sports in Asian countries and improvement of skills and qualification of young specialists in the sphere of sport. NOC of the UAE expressed a high interest in practicing winter sports withing educational training programs organized by the Children of Asia International Committee.

         «In UAE winter sports are just beginning to develop and our cooperation is a great opportunity to educate the new generation of young athletes. These programs are primarily aimed at developing winter sports in countries in which snow is exotic».

         It should be noted that educational training programs are developed in cooperation with Olympic Council of Asia.
